A well-known Hampshire non league manager collapsed during a game last night.
Gosport Borough's Alex Pike was taken ill toward the end of his side's 5-3 win over his former club Wimborne at Privett Park last night.
An ambulance was called and Pike - who famously led Wimborne to 1992 FA Vase final glory at Wembley - was treated by paramedics at the scene.
He was later allowed home.
Gosport chairman Mark Hook said: "The result is very much secondary to what happened to our manager.
"It was a very worrying time for everyone involved with the club and we just hope he recovers quickly."
