BLACKFIELD & Langley have made three additions to their Sydenhams Premier Division title-winning squad.
Manager Glenn Burnett has swooped for wide man Adam ‘Taz’ Roberts, versatile full-back/midfielder Jack Smith and 24-year-old midfielder Aidan Sainsbury.
Roberts, who came up through the Eastleigh youth ranks, includes Sutton United and Winchester City among his former clubs. He finished last season with New Milton Town.
Smith, another ex-Eastleigh youngster, played Southern Premier football for Bashley before joining Winchester in Division One South & West last term.
Sainsbury, Burnett’s most recent acquisition, started out his career with AFC Bournemouth and played in Spain for third division outfit Club Deportivo Arguineguin.
Blackfield travel to Western Premier outfit Gillingham Town tomorrow with two excellent home friendly wins behind them.
Having beaten Sainsbury’s old club Wimborne Town 2-0 last Saturday through Kevin Gibbens and Craig Feeney, they hit back from two down to beat Bashley 4-2 on Tuesday. Ex-Totton & Eling marksman Feeney bagged a hat- trick and Nathan Lynch scored the other.
