Dan Wooden scored twice and former Sholing striker Lee Wort added a late third as Gosport Borough booked an FA Cup fourth qualifying round trip to Devon with a 3-0 win over Maidenhead United in tonight's third qualifying round replay at Privett Park.
Wooden headed Gosport into a 1-0 interval lead – an advantage they might have extended had efforts from Rory Williams and Steve Ramsey not hit the woodwork.
But ten minutes into the second half Wooden drilled home a 20-yarder and in stoppage time Wort lobbed the Maidenhead goalkeeper for number three.
Gosport visit south Devon side Willand Rovers for a place in the first round proper on Saturday week (October 25).
