OTTERBOURNE enjoyed a thrilling Hampshire Intermediate Cup second round victory over their fellow Hampshire Premier League high fliers AFC Stoneham.
Both teams boasted a hat-trick hero as the Otters, fifth in their league, beat a Stoneham side two places above them 5-4.
Tom Sands cracked a hat-trick inside the opening 35 minutes for the Otters with Tom Wright and Steve Hall also netting.
Luke Musselwhite (3) and John Cole replied.
Hamble Club, second in the Hampshire Premier League, romped to an 8-1 success at Liss Athletic Reserves with Warren Attrill hitting a hat-trick.
Shane Flooks (2), Liam Crook, Luke Watts and Prince McLean also scored.
Hampshire League leaders Baffins Milton required two goals in the last five minutes to defeat visiting Bournemouth Electric 2-1.
Dean Harris levelled Steve Flynn’s first half opener in the 85th minute, before Jason Parrish struck in the 89th minute.
Dave Reading (2) and Ross Bennoch scored as Michelmersh & Timsbury beat visiting Tadley Calleva Reserves 3-2, while Gary Cozens and Dean Lowe scored for Netley Central in a 2-0 home win over Brading Town.
Dean Higgins scored twice as Winchester Castle won 4-2 at Travaux.
Liam Nancholas and Stewart Beck netted Castle’s first and last goals, with Jason Payne and Sam Rutter replying.Ashley Hewer struck an 87th minute winner as Cadnam United triumphed 2-1 at Southampton University. Sam Payne had earlier scored for the visitors.
AFC Burton clinched a surprise 2-1 win at Hampshire Leaguers Overton, Levi Rydell hitting an 80th minute winner.
Ryan Wagstaffe hit a late consolation for QK Southampton as they were thumped 7-1 at home by Horndean Reserves.
Stockbridge edged Colden Common 4-3, with Ollie Dobson, Ryan Moth and Harry Barrett replying.
Cameron Pallin fired a hat-trick as Clanfield thumped visiting Langley Manor 5-1, while Tom Gilbert’s goal on the stroke of half-time gave Andover Lions victory at Cosham Park Rangers.
