Roy Hodgson's squad appear to have come through the weekend's Premier League fixtures unscathed, with all 22 players reporting for England duty last night.

Just two months on from their embarrassing World Cup exit, the Three Lions have reconvened for their first matches since the disappointment of Brazil.

Norway visit Wembley in a friendly on Wednesday evening, before the squad jet off to Switzerland for their first European Championship qualifier.

Hodgson was unable to select a number of England regulars for the upcoming matches through injury - incluiding ex Saints trio Luke Shaw, Adam Lallana and Theo Walcott - but does not have any more issues to contend with.

All 22 players have reported for duty at the team's hotel and no withdrawals are expected, although the players will be assessed upon arrival.

The only real concern after this weekend's Premier League matches was for Danny Rose, who limped off in the second half of Tottenham's 3-0 defeat to Liverpool.

The left-back, called up to the senior team for the first time, said he was "not sure" how severe the knock was, but it has not stopped him linking up with the rest of the squad.

"I think it's not a big injury," Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino said of Rose's enforced exit. "He has a dead leg, so I think it's okay for him to go with England."

Hodgson was at White Hart Lane yesterday and will have been impressed by the performances of Jordan Henderson, Daniel Sturridge and, in particular, Raheem Sterling.

Phil Jones, Danny Welbeck and newly-appointed England captain Wayne Rooney were all involved in Manchester United's frustrating 0-0 draw at Burnley, while Jack Colback played the full 90 minutes as Newcastle drew 3-3 with Crystal Palace.

Joe Hart should have done better to deny Mame Biram Diouf's winner as Manchester City were shocked 1-0 by Stoke at the Etihad Stadium, where James Milner was an unused substitute.

Back-up goalkeepers Fraser Forster and Ben Foster enjoyed differing fortunes, with the former part of Southampton's 3-1 win at West Ham while Foster's West Brom fell to a 3-0 defeat at Swansea.
