Hampshire's Neil Raymond has continued his progress at the US Amateur Championship, reaching the last-16 of the prestigious event.
The Corhampton player beat Tennessee's Zachary Olsen 2&1 at The Country Club, Brookline, as he safely navigated another round of the match play section.
Raymond took the lead at the first hole, with a par to Olsen's bogey, before losing the third and the fifth to fall behind.
But a superb run in the middle of the match saw him win the eighth, ninth, 11th and 12 to go three-up - a deficit that Olsen was unable to overturn.
Raymond's win followed up his victory over California's Jason Anthony in the first match play round.
The 27-year-old, who topped the leaderboard in the 36-hole stroke play qualifier, will now face Australia's Nathan Holman this evening for a place in the quarter-finals.
