Justin Rose battled back from an opening 76 to comfortably make the cut at the US Masters.
The Hampshire star carded a second round 70 (-2) to be +2 going into today’s third round.
Rose’s round featured four birdies, four dropped shots and an eagle at the par-five eighth hole.
However, the 33-year-old has a lot of ground to make up on Bubba Watson who leads on seven under, while second-placed John Senden is three shots further back on -4.
Big-name casualties who failed to make the weekend included Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els, Sergio Garcia and Jason Dufner.
