Millbrook were handed their second match of the season when Alton failed to get a full first XV together for the Hampshire One trip to Five Acres.
Promotion-seeking Brook, who were also given five points by neighbours Team Solent at the beginning of the season, are grateful for the points but would rather have earned them.
Captain Mike Randell said: “It’s frustrating that Alton weren’t able to fulfil the fixture against us.
“We’ve had two walkovers from our six league games so far and myself and the team would have much preferred to play those fixtures and keep a bit of fluency to our game.
“It’s a shame for Alton as a rugby club and we hope we get to play against them later in the season.”
