FIFTEEN young boys from New Milton Rugby Football Club and more than 100 family members and friends will never forget their trip to Twickenham.
The club's under-ten team had reached the bowl final of a national competition in Nottingham to qualify for the final, staged before Sunday's England v Barbarians game.
Fantastic defending, notably from full back Stuart Pink, kept the Lions in the game against a team from Lincoln.
Towards the end of the second half, with the score still 0-0, Milton won a scrum against the head in Lincoln's half. Prop Chester Allen headed straight for the line and, with the help of all his teammates produced a last-gasp pushover try to win the match.
The boys, coaches and parents now take a break before resuming training on the first Sunday in September. New players are always welcome. To find out more visit the club website www.newmiltonrugby.co.uk or just come on down to training.
