SOUTHAMPTON'S Anthony Allen has vowed to seize his moment after earning a chance to impress for England in Vichy tonight.
The Gloucester centre made an impression off the bench in England's Under-21 World Championship opener in France against Fiji.
And after skipper Matt Cornwell was rested for tonight's game against New Zealand, Allen is itching to prove his worth.
"They won't be afraid to go for broke and we'll have to match that," he said.
"We played under 19s against New Zealand and lost by 12 points.
"There are a few old scores to settle and we know what to expect.
"We need to put our own markers down against New Zealand otherwise we will face a rough ride."
New Zealand got their campaign off to a flying start by steamrollering Italy 75-16 while England stuttered in the early stages of their opener last Friday.
But Allen said: "It was important not to give all our secrets away to the stronger teams as we know they were all watching."
