Cowes programme hit by lack of wind
A lack of wind caused today's racing at Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week to be cancelled.
Sunshine returned to the Isle of Wight this morning, but with no sea breeze to speak of on the Solent, it was a frustrating day for organisers and competitors.
A statement said: "Due to unforeseen weather conditions, racing was cancelled today at Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week. As a result there are no results for today, but we remain hopeful for tomorrow."
