RECORD-breaking Hampshire yachtswoman Dee Caffari is to take part in a documentary about sleep deprivation.
The 36-year-old from Titchfield took on unusual sleeping patterns for the three-month singlehanded Vendée Round the World race, some days sleeping as little as three hours.
During the documentary Dee’s sleep patterns will be assessed by researchers who will then offer advice on how best to sleep while on races.
The programme, called 10 Things You Need to Know About Sleep, airs on BBC1 at 9pm on Tuesday.
