THE 33rd America’s Cup which was set to get under way yesterday in Valencia was postponed.
After a 30-month legal battle and a postponement on Monday due to light airs, there was yet another delay to the race which will see two giant multihulls, Alinghi and BMW Oracle Racing, going head-to-head off Valencia, as the AP flag was flying over the A flag above the Varadero building, the main race control offices.
Race organisers said the next scheduled race day was tomorrow with a start time of 10am.
