UP TO 70,000 people are expected to flock to Cowes by foot or by boat to watch their famous firework finale.
The night sky will explode in colour, silhouetting hundreds of boats against the skyline, while thousands gather from Prince’s Green to the Marina to admire the magnificent display.
It will all spark off at 9.30pm tonight and will last for half an hour.
The harbour is closed to traffic during the display and afterwards there is a mandatory speed limit of 15 knots as far as the top of Southampton Water.
Anyone caught letting off rogue fireworks or distress flares will be cautioned.
