LIKE many drivers in Southampton, I will be delighted when the long-running roadworks near the Red Funnel ferry terminal at Town Quay finally comes to an end.
Sometime in April of next year is the promise. Oh joy.
I’m mindful, of course, that the current big planning debate for the city is how the whole Mayflower Park/Royal Pier area will be developed into a stunning new seafront for the city. Great news. Can’t wait. Especially when they dig up all the roads in the area again to accommodate it.
Ho hum...
