I've become a vlogger. If you're a regular reader if this blog, you'll know that I love theatre and regularly review what I see.
I decided to do videos of my reviews on YouTube. Having watched a few vloggers, I realised they tend to go on a bit so I set myself the target of doing my reviews in about one minute. This has turned out to be a bit more of a challenge than I expected but I think I'm getting the hang of it. Feel free to take a look and let me know what you think. Here's the link to One Minute Theatre Reviews.
One of the tricks I've tried is a green screen. This is when you record the video in front of a green backdrop and then replace the background with a picture or film.
The first one I did was for my review of Joe Orton's Loot at The Watermill in Newbury. I bought a lime green bedsheet and stuck it up with blutack. This didn't go as smoothly as I'd hoped, as this video of the outtakes shows.
