FURTHER to Alan Blandford’s letter (Daily Echo December 22) I wholeheartedly agree with all he says.

There are so many facets to the problem of same-sex “marriage” – the chief purpose of marriage between a man and a woman being the procreation of children – that it is only possible to touch on some of them.

I respect the beliefs of everyone, however, it is not up to us to change the laws of God or His Commandments. What people try to do is create God in their image – and you can see what an abysmal mess they are making of it!

Society is very sick and needs healing.

Yes, the Bible was “written by fallible human beings” but under the guidance of God and it was accepted as the Word of God down through the ages by most people – even the Koran is based on it!

Sex outside marriage between a man and a woman is wrong.

Just because nowadays it seems to be acceptable doesn’t make it right.
