IF we needed any further proof of the contempt the Tory party or rather to be fair Mr Cameron holds for the people of this country, it is surely his recent patronizingly arrogant statement re the people of the Falkland Islands, where he stated loud and clear, that if the people of the islands wanted to remain British then they should be given a referendum and allowed to decide for themselves who governs them.
How he can make such a proclamation having not long ago made it quite clear there would be no referendum for the British people on who will govern us, despite having given just such a promise in their manifesto.
I would suggest the people of the Falklands look very closely at the real reason behind this arrogant statement.
This really does show the true nature of the Tory party and is why so many are now jumping ship.
