SO they are going to spend money on Platform Road, Southampton.
I think it’s about time the highways department and Southampton City Council got their act together, pulled their socks up and sorted out Northam Bridge, the railway bridge at Bitterne and Central Bridge at Ocean Village because that comes to a standstill.
Last year it took two hours on the bus from Northam to Northam Bridge, Bitterne Railway Bridge.
This comes to a standstill at Bullar Road. It took an hour and a half to get from Bernard Street, Central Bridge, Itchen Bridge to Woolston.
That is over three hours trying to get from the centre to Bitterne.
So, before starting on Platform Road, get this sorted out first.
