AMONG your readers there must be thousands who during the National Service years served in the RAF. An organisation exists for such people called the RAF (National Service) Association which has groups all over the country which meet regularly with talks and visits to old and existing RAF stations and other armed forces establishments.
Recently we have swelled our ranks by opening up to Regulars, WAAFs and WRAF and those who served in the Second World War but the latter are a dwindling number.
Our local group, basically for Hampshire, meets once a month in Winchester.
