WELL, the big question is will the roads be gritted before or after the snow arrives this year?
I think with the amount of weather forcasts about how the temperatures are going to drop and that we are going to have snow, the council will still want to save money and not send out the gritters yet again and Southampton will come to a standstill.
So get them out now not two weeks after when it is too late. Use the council tax; you make enough out of us that pay for it, at least we will benefit by that. Think of the safety benefits it will bring, not only for the drivers, but the elderly and the children travelling to school.
