SO, we're going to have another office block in Southamp-ton, six storeys high, for the cruise giant Carnival on a site at West Quay.
It will house 900 office workers who will have to fight over 85 underground car park spaces and 148 cycle parking spaces.
In my estimation that leaves 667 employees without a parking space or bike spot.
Don't tell me that not all the 900 will have cars, of course they won't, but a lot of them will.
Yet again, South-ampton is to be plagued by more lack of parking places.
What the city's approach roads will be like in 2009 I hate to think!
