RATE payers need some serious questions answered by Eastleigh council leader Keith House.
How can the relocation of the council offices be judged to be a cost neutral exercise before knowing how much the sale of the site in Leigh Road will raise?
Have there been any credible estimates obtained for carrying out the refurbishment work at the current offices, which he says would be required?
Finally, whatever makes him think that this relocation will draw thousands more people to Eastleigh itself, given there will be no parking available at the proposed new location?
