THE police action against street racing in Hedge End is the biggest joke I've heard this year.
Truth is that they only caught spectators that came to watch. The racers were tipped about the police convoy at 8.30pm and left.
Why do and police spend huge amounts on a pointless show of force(just how much did that operation cost taxpayers?)and not help to fund/organise/locate a safe place where we can enjoy our hobby, like they did with the skate boarders and other minority groups that were a disturbance?.
If they drive the racers out of Hedge End we will find another location. This will not solve the problem.
