National disability charity Vitalise (formerly Winged Fellowship Trust) would like to invite you to spend a week of your time - or just the odd day - helping disabled people and carers have a much-needed break this winter.

Vitalise has five accessible Centres in the UK, one of which is Netley Waterside House in Southampton.

Volunteers help our care staff by providing guests with support and companionship, enabling them to enjoy their stay with us to the full. We especially need people to come and help in the next few months.

There is no upper age limit, we welcome volunteers of all ages.As long as you are reasonably fit and active, your enthusiasm and warmth is all you need to have a memorable week. 99% of our volunteers tell us they find their time with us rewarding and useful.

Michael and Janet Venn, of Basingstoke, recent volunteers at Netley, said: "This place has a special place in our hearts because we met and fell in love while volunteering here. We even had our wedding here! We are still volunteering for Vitalise and loving every minute."

Volunteering for Vitalise is a terrific opportunity for you to put your life skills and experience to good use and make new friends from all over the world. There is no long-term commitment and all costs are reimbursed. Why not give us a call and try it out?
