IN reply to Anver Jeenvanjee (Letters, October 30), the problem of wearing a veil that covers the face is not so much a question of freedom of religion, but of security. Why do bank robbers etc cover their faces?
It is for this reason that the public is concerned about people wearing face coverings - especially in the recent climate of bomb threats -not because they are intolerant.
