I WOULD like to comment on the residents of Regents Park on the eve of Hallowe'en.
Reservedly, I took my three daughters' out dressed in their Hallowe'en costumes, only to be met by many children and parents alike, who also had very elaborate outfits.
The atmosphere was wonderful, as was the response of the residents who were happy to oblige with the trick or treat' festivities.
One resident even took the time to bake cakes and present them on a try to all the children who knocked on her door. What community spirit!
I am sure that I speak not only on behalf of my three daughters but also on behalf of other parents and children who undoubtedly also experienced such kind generosity from the residents.
I would like to thank everyone in helping to contribute to a pleasant evening. Your efforts didn't go unrecognised and certainly left an impression on the younger members of the community.
