We all love to fly but there may not by anywhere to go after the ice caps have melted and the oceans have risen by 70m. I hear this could be in the next 100 years or so.
The irony is that by then, everybody will be crammed on to a much smaller piece of land with food and water being expensive, so the actual desire to get away from society will be much much more.
Well, on the other hand maybe then, the rich who have become richer will pay for the middle class and poor to have holidays to a nice desert somewhere? Hmmm.
I do realise that aviation is a small part of the problem but it is the fastest growing one, hence it will be hardest to slow down.
