It has just come to my attention that the airport expansion is being seriously thought about, and I am alarmed.
Already the peace of our garden in Highfield is constantly shattered as we sit outside, both in the day and the evening.
For people nearer the runways, I shudder to think about the impact.
We know that our planet will be uninhabitable soon unless we do something about carbon emissions, yet we encourage frivolous flights all over the place - please do something to stop this madness!
I am going to Sunderland for work next week - BY TRAIN!
