IT IS difficult to put on paper how I think of the shabby treatment dealt to these so dedicated and interesting presenters.
1 Anger, 2 Disappointed, 3 Amazement are three things that come to mind. People who have been loved and respected for many things over the years that no-one else will be able to replace are to go and for what?
More music if that will be the right word I doubt it? Younger people I presume and will they have the knowledge or even the experience to maintain interest?
Putting on Solent was the second job to do after switching on the kettle in the morning and continued turned on in my home for the rest of the day, and is more often than not on to the evening rather than television.
I don't think this will be the case in the future.
