I FIND it difficult to believe - and understand - all I have been hearing this week regarding the sudden changes at BBC Radio Solent.
I would guess that the majority of listeners are of the "older" generation as I am.
When I listen to the radio it is almost always Solent - I find it very interesting, informative and entertaining.
Having recently been visiting the West Country and listening to their local radio stations, you realise how very good - and more professional Solent is - Julian Clegg, pictured, in particular.
I'm disappointed about the Saturday morning changes - particularly David Skillicorn - and I'm not desperate to listen to even more female voices!
Suggesting you are losing listeners to Wave 105 etc, I find strange since it is one continuous bland "music" noise with occasional breaks for weather and road reports. (I only have this knowledge as it is often on at my daughter's house for the company to the dog when she's out!).
