I HAVE lived in the Southampton area for 20 years now and every time there is a heavy rainfall exactly the same places flood up. This is due to two factors (a) wrong cambers on the roads and corners concerned and (b) lack of drains.
Surely someone can see where this happens and organise an extension to the drainage system.
Recently new road surfaces laid in Shirley Road have caused excess water laying on both the corners of Andover Road leading on to Shirley Road. It was like that in 1987!!!
