GREETINGS from Australia, having just read the so called apology from Mia Costello it is clear she is a fool that has no experience in treating the listening public (what's left) and would never last in commercial radio.
In Australia, whatever you think of Australians, she would be sacked and brought before the commissioner for equal rights, something that is taken very seriously here but like a lot of things in the UK you haven't caught up with this and how to treat people equally yet.
I would recommend that the people vote on what and who they want on the BBC Solent, through your paper, or has that been done already?
I used to listen when time permitted on the Net to Nick Girdler and the others, when I heard them, were very professional and hard working. Listen carefully and it shows.
