I have just returned from a fortnight in italy (Rome and Naples)and there was not a single Christmas decoration on display.
Nothing in the shops, no adverts for Christmas gifts on tv, nothing!
Christmas lights on the streets were beginning to appear as I left ... a month to Christmas Day.
It was a breath of fresh air Ican tell you.
Unlike this country where Christmas has been unavoidable wherever you go for months.
I went into a shop in Southampton yesterday and an employee told me they've got Easter things waiting in their stockroom already. Crazy!
