I AM writing to day how disgusted and appalled I am at the way Miss Hughes and now Mr Whelan have been treated by this so-called animal charity'. The RSPCA would never act in such a disgraceful way. They always give the owner a chance to rectify a situation and only as a very last resort would they remove an animal to stop further suffering.
Miss Hughes is known to me and we have often walked our dogs together and Lunar is a very happy, healthy dog. Miss Hughes adores her and would certainly never to anything to cause Lunar any distress. I am glad to see that Chris Huhne has got involved and I really think the police should be called in, I'm sure there must be something needs investigating. My heart goes out to Miss Hughes and Mr Whelan and I do hope their dogs are returned in the not too distant future.
