I HAVE read with interest the letter from Phil Woodward (Letters, June 6) regarding the new Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth.
Whilst this looks fantastic and I do agree with some of his comments regarding what Southampton has to offer, I do not agree with his comments regarding the SeaCity museum.
My family and I made use of our free tickets to this last November and found the whole experience to be totally enjoyable and in the case of the Titanic very moving and emotional. There was so much to see and do there.
Yes, Southampton has been overshadowed by Portsmouth in recent years, but there is still lots to see and do here.
