ACCORDING to Mr Cox, the renewable energy subsidy will add £63 to average household energy bills because The Department of Energy and Climate Change says so.
I suppose if I was daft enough to believe (a) in global warming and (b) any figures issued by a Government department then I would be qualified to join the ‘Green’ party.
Didn’t hear much about alleged global warming earlier in the year when it was cold, wet and windy but I expect we shall now because the sun is shining.
The word ‘green’ now has a new meaning – an excuse by the Government to screw more money out of people.
MR J McCARTHY, Hedge End.
