WE are saved from wet summers! The Met Office has announced after a meeting of experts that for the next ten summers Britain is going to be cool and wet owing to the shifting of the Gulf Stream and the Atlantic temperature rising by an average 1C.
I would say: “People, get your cozzies, buckets and spades ready because we are in for some scorchers.”
Once an official talks about long-term weather it usually ends up the opposite of what they say. This is the first bit of hope over our dreadful weather we have had for some time.
