READING the letter from PD of Shirley, Southampton, criticising middle lane hoggers, I find that to keep changing lanes is positively dangerous especially when travelling with HGV vehicles which you know you will have to overtake eventually.
To dive from the outside lane to the near side lane is bordering on suicide. When using approach roads to a motorway and travelling at 50mph plus, one is often flashed by the speed kids.
I do not respond to such behaviour – I don't believe that is what lights are for.
I wonder how one interprets the M25 on the south side where there are four lanes.
Where do I go?
ALAN BLANDFORD, Southampton.
