I TOOK flowers to South Stoneham cemetery’s garden of remembrance for the anniversaries of the deaths of my aunt and my dad.
I was horrified when my cousin phoned, knowing I would have recently taken flowers, to tell me that when he visited all my flowers had disappeared.
What kind of people would steal flowers from the dead?
I have also recently lost my mum, so the flowers were for her as well, which has made this twice as upsetting.
This is typical of the society we now live in. Whoever you are, I hope you are proud of yourself.
MRS CAROL GOODRIDGE, Fareham.
