VERYmany thanks to the collectors and public in the borough of Eastleigh who contributed so generously to the collections for Open Sight (previously known as Hampshire Association for the Care of the Blind).
The house-to-house collection which took place between July 1 and 6 raised £947.01 compared with £1,088.32 in 2012. The street collection, which took place on July 6, raised £661.44 compared with £668.34 in 2011.
In addition there were two donations totalling £20 compared with £50 the previous year, bringing the total this year to £1.628.45 compared with £1,806.66.
