Another think-tank has drummed up another idea to make it harder for young drivers, whilst the cost of owning a car is expensive enough in the first place.

They want young drivers to have a year’s experience before they take their tests whilst most people normally take up to this time with lessons, theory and test anyway.

As a young driver myself, in my day-today commute, I find that there a lot of older drivers that could certainly do with taking some more lessons.

Tests have changed over certain years and become harder and more difficult for young people, whereas someone that has been driving for 20 years drives how they think is right. Do you think they remember all the checks you do in learning to drive and taking a test?

I think the only way to make the roads safer is for every car to have a black box like a plane and also cameras like a lot of counties have now.

I think in time this would definitely be a more positive way of keeping the roads safe and hopefully drive down the cost of driving for young people to gain their freedom making it easier for getting jobs as well.
