THREE months on and I’m still angry about the opportunist thief who stole £200 from my elderly mother’s bank account while I unwittingly left her debit card in the ATM at the Co-op Food Store at Bitterne Triangle.
This happened about 6pm on April 25 and although I was careless in leaving the card in the machine, I wonder what sort of person, instead of returning the card from the machine and either handing it into staff or the bank, believes it is OK to help themselves to as much cash as they can get!
My mother is in a care home, and I have a message for the criminal: May your conscience catch up with you and give you many sleepless nights, and remember, what goes around, comes around!
