AFTER quite a few rubbish cold wet summers where some people had been flooded out of house and home, the lovely hot weather is finally here and yet there are people out there who say they don’t like it.
I heard such stupid comments such as... “roll on winter”, “I’ll be glad when the snow comes”, or “I like the rain better”.
What? Just think while this warm weather is here you are saving on heating bills, something that we’ve not had in previous summers as it had been unseasonably cold.
For those who say they prefer it cold, damp, grey, overcast, icy, frosty, raining, snowing etc, please spare a thought for all those that suffer from S.A.D, or arthritis and similar conditions that people say plays up in the previous mentioned weather conditions.
They are probably enjoying the respite. So to all those who say they prefer it cold, yes so do I, but only in winter when it’s supposed to be cold.
