Bring back some common sense

Write, indeed bombard your MP with letters of complaint about all the issues which really annoy you. Same with your local councillors. Tell them, what you the taxpayer want. After all, it is your money.

Let the press have your letters and e-mails, sometimes they do publish them subject to space being available. The media is usually on our side.

The reason political parties have no funds is because we don't now believe in policians. They are going to have stop taking from us and give us sometime back. It is not their money to waste. Borrowing by this government is massive and what have we seen for that expensive?

I have campaigned on my pet issues now for years which include scrapping home information packs, scrapping inheritance tax especially for those of us who are unpaid carers, stop all the filth which is on television which instead of being funny is more on the shock treatment.
