I WAS happy to note that Nigel Farage appeared to have the slight edge over Nick Clegg (In or Out debate BBC 2, Wednesday, April 2).
Nick Clegg looked decidedly weary by the end of the one hour programme, and the out and out lies he dreamed up in his praise for the EU was a wonder to behold.
I tried to take note of who out of the two was getting the most applause but on that I felt they cut about even.
It would appear, however, that the general public are beginning to realise we could be heading in a far better direction if we were free to trade as we wish in any part of the globe with no EU restrictions and I’m certain all the other main parties are in fear of a referendum.
