I READ that the Irish economy is on the mend, and no longer has any need for funding from the EU.
Which I suspect also means, in time, the other countries who had loans will regain ground.
Indeed the property market has picked up due to other countries outside of the EU investing there.
My message to UKIP is simple.
If, as they want, we leave the EU, the other 27 members will survive without us. Not forgetting, more want to join.
The Euro Zone will recover.
Pound Sterling cannot compete, nor could we as a nation. With or without Scotland.
If you want to be British, then make the EU work to our advantage, and do not be cowardly and run away.
Show your support on May 22 and ensure UKIP come last.
RICHARD GRANT, Burley.
