IT HAS come to my notice that Hampshire County Council is to cut its funding to housing associations for alarm services for vulnerable and elderly people.
This means that people who currently rely on the services to summon aid in times of crisis will lose their life line.
This is a false economy, as it cost less to keep people in their own homes with support.
