THE city council is at it again, wasting money on laser beams that are environmentally unfriendly.
I do not wish to look out of my windows and see laser beams. If a clear night, I like to see the stars and moon. Also we, the people, are told to turn of lights, not to leave things on stand by. Get low energy bulbs. Insulate to save fuel. Turn our heating down (that's if we can afford any).
The council want these unfriendly, electricity- guzzling monstrosities to try to outdo Portsmouth's Spinnaker Tower.
I don't think so.
