WE are writing to protest about the plan to have laser beams sent from the Civic Centre over the city and across the forest and surrounding areas.
We can think of other ways to spend our money, not on frivolities such as laser beams, not only would it upset our life, but also the wildlife and natural world, but of course nothing else matters but silly gimmicks and what some thoughtless people want!
As long-standing citizens of Southampton we have every right to protest strongly about this ridiculous proposal.
